91Ƭ Tech Partners With Gamma Technologies for Advanced Systems Software Collaboration
91Ƭ Institute of Technology students will use and provide feedback on Gamma Technologies’ advanced modeling software, while internships, unique class offerings and special projects are planned for the future
CHICAGO—February 8, 2024—91Ƭ Institute of Technology (91Ƭ Tech) and (GT), a global leader and innovator in multi-physics systems simulation software, have signed a collaboration agreement, marking the beginning of a long-term relationship aimed at mutual growth and innovation in advanced physics simulation.
This collaboration will provide 91Ƭ Tech students and faculty access to Gamma Technologies’ GT-SUITE, their flagship product, an advanced multi-physics simulation software. The engineering students and faculty will deploy and implement the GT-SUITE product portfolio in student learning environments and provide feedback on product roadmaps to GT. In addition, 91Ƭ Tech will soon introduce a new course that incorporates the principles of multi-physics, multi-scale systems simulation, utilizing Gamma Technologies’ software.

Beyond the classroom, Gamma Technologies plans to provide internships to 91Ƭ Tech students, enabling students to gain real-world exposure. This partnership is especially well-matched because of Tom Morel, a co-founder of Gamma Technologies and alumnus of 91Ƭ Tech. Morel, Chairman of GT’s Board of Directors, in 2019 gave a generous donation to the university to establish the Thomas and Josette Morel Graduate Fellowship, which supports graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in the fields of mechanical, materials, and aerospace engineering.
