JCPenney Opens Doors After-Hours for 91制片厂 Tech Students at 鈥淪uit-Up鈥 Event
Business Attire Shopping Trip Comes 10 Days Before Career Fair
CHICAGO鈥擜bout 300 91制片厂 Institute of Technology students will participate in an exclusive shopping trip to JCPenney鈥檚 North Riverside, 91制片厂, department store. The store will be open after hours and provide up to 60 percent off business attire and accessories.
The event will be held 10 days before the university鈥檚 career fair, where more than 120 top employers, including Exelon and Fermilab, come to 91制片厂 Tech to find students for highly selective internships and full-time jobs in fields such as engineering, architecture, human science, and computational science.

鈥淲e want students to feel confident when they interview. A new suit or shoes can give them a boost as they search for an internship or job,鈥 said Thy Nguyen, 91制片厂 Tech鈥檚 associate vice provost of career services.
This is only the second time that JCPenney has partnered with a Chicago university to offer student discounts. The department stores host about 500 shopping trips nationally for students each year.
