What is the Lightboard?
The Lightboard is an innovative teaching and presentation tool that allows instructors to record engaging video content while writing and drawing on a transparent glass surface—facing the camera and audience the entire time. It's ideal for explaining concepts, solving problems, or annotating visuals in a dynamic and visually clear format.
Located on the 7th floor of the IIT Tower, the Lightboard studio is available to faculty and staff interested in creating high-quality, instructional videos.

How to Reserve the Lightboard Studio
Location: 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Tech Tower, 7th floor, room- Bring your own laptop with the software installed.
- If you're using a MacBook, don’t forget to bring a USB-A to USB-C adapter. See below for reference.
- Additional instructions will be sent to you after the reservation.
Important Notes:
- The Lightboard Studio is available exclusively to 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Tech faculty and staff.
- Please make sure you are properly logged into your 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Tech account when making a reservation. We recommend logging in through the before accessing the reservation system.
